Outdoor Toddler Photography {Paula Dias Photography}

A couple of months ago, Alex and his family came back for his birthday photos. He turned two and it feels like just yesterday, we met to photograph his first birthday. We had a ton of fun running around and playing outside on this gorgeous day in early fall. I love outdoor sessions with toddlers because they can really be themselves and I can capture their personality in the most natural way. I enjoyed working with this wonderful family again and I hope to see them next year for more! Have a great weekend.

Milford High School Senior Portraits: Class of 2013 {Paula Dias Photography}

I am finally having a chance to catch up on sharing images on my blog and Facebook page. Last month, I had the opportunity to work with Brandon who is a Milford High School senior, class of 2013! He was such a pleasure to work with, just like his older sister Cassie, which I had the pleasure of shooting last year for her senior portraits. Brandon was so sweet and easy to work with. I can't wait to continue the family tradition and photograph the youngest of the family soon! I hope you enjoy the sneak peak below with some of my favorites from our outdoor session. Thanks for visiting!

What to wear for a family photo session {Paula Dias Photography}

Hi everyone, the number one question I get every time I book a family portrait is what do we wear to our photo session? The key to looking good as a family is to coordinate, but not match. Be careful not to dress too much alike! You want each family member's personality and style to show but still stay within the same color scheme. Recently, I found this helpful what to wear guide by Lina Jarland Photography from North Carolina. All of these styles can be found for affordable prices at Old Navy or the Gap. Have fun with it and be creative. I especially like the hot pink and grey combo below but the color pallet you choose will really depend on the look you are trying to achieve and the location of your session.
